Puppy Classes are held at Zoot Pet Hospital & Round Rock Animal Hospital

The purpose of puppy training class is to socialize your puppy with other dogs and people at an early age.  In addition, the class will familiarize your dog with basic commands and appropriate puppy behavior.  A well-behaved dog will make everyone's lives more enjoyable.

The class is 1 hour each week for four weeks.  Puppy classes are for dogs that are six months or younger.  All puppies must be up to date on vaccines with a minimum of two boosters including Bordetella, Distemper, and Parvo.  Dogs must be free of all parasites (fleas, ticks, etc...).

What to bring:  6 foot lead with collar (please, no retractable leashes).

Puppy Class specific topics include:  

* Basic commands such as sit, stay, and come

* Potty training

* Beginning leash training

* Destructive behavior

* Mouthing and nipping

The cost for the four week puppy class is $150.  Classes are limited to 6 participants.
